A native New Yorker, Erica Beckman earned a Visual Arts degree from SUNY New Paltz and now lives in Brooklyn shooting portraits for publications, bands and community projects, including the I Heart Brooklyn Girls pin-up calendar. When she's not photographing the faces of New York's cultural scene, Beckman is a photo editor for The Wall Street Journal and documents the life and times of her poodle named Stud.
